Accidental light

Routine is an enemy of creativity and free flow. Slow down and see. How many times have you missed seeing fleeting moments of sheer beauty?  Have you ever dropped an object and seen it free fall to the ground – out of control, bouncing off something or other, swishing past your ankle and landing abruptly? Can you recall how it looked, the blurry form and fuzzy edges?  Moments like these are transitory and ethereal and cannot be repeated, exactly. Light captured is accidental, serendipitous. Images in this work were made during such moments.
