Memory & space
This work was conceived and completed a year after my father’s death in August 2015. It explores the relationship between the memory of my father and some of the spaces and objects he occupied and used in the last few years of his life.
All images were taken in London where my father spent most of his life and where he spent his final years when dementia and fragility ended his independence. The pictures are metaphors and provide a glimpse of the far end of life. The series of images are intended to be viewed in sequence.
